I’m Guido van de Water, a dedicated professional landscape and nature photographer passionate about capturing the essence, emotion, and narrative in each of my images.
As an ambassador for OM System, I am also a sought-after speaker and workshop leader, eager to inspire photographers at any skill level to explore the beauty of nature through their lenses. My work has received numerous accolades in photography contests and has been featured in prominent magazines and newspapers. Additionally, I contribute articles to photography magazines and online platforms.
I host a YouTube channel where I share new videos weekly, focusing on landscape and nature photography. Through these videos, as well as my workshops and photo talks, I aim to motivate fellow photographers to grow and unleash their creativity.

Out of the Darkness
My debut book is more than just a collection of images; it is a deeply personal story of transformation. Out of the Darkness takes you through 136 pages of my favorite photographs, each paired with the raw, honest story behind the lens. I invite you to explore my most meaningful work—from the vast, quiet stillness of landscapes to the fleeting, intimate moments of birds and wildlife.
Woven throughout is my own journey: a thread that connects every photograph to a larger story of facing life-changing events, hitting rock bottom, and finding the strength to climb back up. It is the story of how a lifelong dream finally became a reality as a professional photographer.
