What a trip! These are the winter conditions that I was hoping for! I had to take a 2 hour trip all the way to Belgium but it was absolutely worth it.

These conditions where perfect for landscape photography. We had snow, ice and Freezing temperatures. We visited a forest with dead trees during sunrise. A frozen river on midday. And a frozen lake at sunset. What more do you want on one day?
